What does Factory Reconditioned mean?
Factory reconditioned products consist of products that were originally sold new, or sent out as demo units, and then returned, sometimes without even being opened. Once we get these units back, we thoroughly test and then recondition them to original CEIVA factory specifications. The stringent testing process assures that the product meets the same stringent quality standards that are required for new products. All Reconditioned CEIVA frames come with the exact same CEIVA one-year warranty as do our new frames. Bottom line, with a CEIVA Reconditioned frame you get all the quality, at a fraction of the price.

Why buy Factory Reconditioned?
Savvy buyers know that factory reconditioned products can be a great value, since these items are usually priced 10 to 15 percent lower than a comparable new product.

Is customer support the same as new?
Yes. We are happy to offer customers of reconditioned units the same high-quality CEIVA Customer Care that comes with new CEIVAs.

Are limited warranties included?
All CEIVA® products, including factory reconditioned units, come with a limited one year warranty as well as the option to extend a unit's limited warranty. You can choose to extend your protection by purchasing an additional year of warranty coverage.

If I already have a CEIVA, can I transfer any remaining time to a Factory Reconditioned frame?
Yes. You can transfer time from one CEIVA Digital Photo Frame to another, when you purchase a one year PicturePlan® or you purchase a CEIVA frame that is bundled with a year of PicturePlan service. Since reconditioned CEIVA frames are not bundled with a year of service, you will need to purchase a year of PicturePlan service in order to transfer time to a reconditioned CEIVA frame.

Once you have purchased your PicturePlan service, please call Customer Care at 1-877-MYCEIVA and we will be happy to transfer the remaining time off of your existing CEIVA to your new or reconditioned CEIVA frame.

Please note: Service time cannot be transferred for frames with a Lifetime Subscription.
