Terms and Conditions

  1. All entries must include your name, mailing address, and phone number.
  2. Top finalists will be chosen from all photos received. Members will be given the opportunity to vote on their favorite pet photo finalist in the CEIVA® August 2008 Newsletter.
  3. Winners will be announced in the CEIVA® September 2008 Newsletter.
  4. Enter as many times as you would like. Only one vote per person, and per computer station.
  5. By entering, you give CEIVA® the permission to publish your photo and story in the CEIVA® Newsletter, e-mails, website, printed materials and any other promotional materials distributed by CEIVA® Logic, Inc. Slight photo alterations may be made by our staff in order to fit our site, marketing materials or email newsletters properly.
  6. The CEIVA® Pet Photo Contest is open only to persons who are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  7. Employees of CEIVA® and its related companies, agents, and suppliers, as well as corporate and government accounts with volume-purchase-level agreements are not eligible to participate.
  8. The CEIVA Pet Photo Contest finalists will be selected based on the quality, originality and creativity of the photo entered. We are looking for high resolution photos of pets and their owners. The decision of the judges will be final and not open to review or negotiation. The final winners will be chosen based on member votes.
  9. Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than you. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo and entry form is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo. See Photo Contest Legal Conditions.
  10. Photo entries must be acceptable according to standards: No violent, unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent material will be accepted, nor any that infringe on copyright or trademarks. The CEIVA staff reserves all right to disqualify any photograph that they define as unacceptable.
  11. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  12. These contest rules shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the parties and their heirs, representatives, successors, and assigns.
  13. Parent or Legal Guardian must approve submission of the contestant's photo(s) when containing children. By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants the CEIVA staff the right to publish submitted photo(s), and entrant’s name. Entrants represent and warrant that their entries are original to them, have not been previously published and do not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
  14. Each entrant acknowledges that he or she has read, understands, accepts and will abide by all official rules and the Photo Contest Legal Conditions.
  15. The decision of CEIVA® Logic, Inc. in all matters relating to the rules and administration of the contest shall be final.
